Our client, a leading global provider of document technology and services, needed a way to manage its entire customer relationship from a marketing perspective. The company was looking for a Global Marketing database that would support all of its marketing activities, from customer acquisition to implementation, loyalty, remarketing, resell, upsell, and renewal.

The Challenge

Our client needed clean, granular and enriched global data to support their marketing campaigns. Despite their innovative engineering, they had struggled with outdated and complex customer data and firmographics. This data needed to be suitably in-depth that they could apply multiple filters in order to maximize campaign ROI.

Our Solution

Harte Hanks was able to provide a solution that addressed all of the client’s challenges. We created an EMEA database, then rebuilt it to their exact global needs and specifications.

Following this, Harte Hanks built a global marketing database off the foundations of the EMEA database, to provide a centralized location for all of the company’s marketing data. The data contained was also cleaned and enriched, with a single customer view developed, allowing the client to feed its MAP solution and target its campaigns more effectively.

The refined data, comprising 29 million contacts, was narrowed down to 8-10 million actively engaged customers.
